The idea of psychics minds predicting murders before they happen is a bit of a stretch for me. Other than that this is probably one of the best sci-fi movies out there, thanks to the superb story by Philip K Dick.
I'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise, but he's ok in this movie.
The omni-present retinal scanners are not too far-fetched. London has security cameras everywhere.

I believe anyone who has spent some time abroad as a student will enjoy this movie.

Director: Julie Delpy
Julie Delpy directs and plays in this romantic comedy. I laughed through the entire movie ! Great portrayal, albeit sometimes exaggerated, of cultural differences.
The sometimes never-ending arguments reminded me of Woody Allen movies.
Great Date Movie !

An adaptation of the oldest available litterature in Old English. The computer graphics are fascinating. I'm still impressed by the technique by which they can create animated representations of real actors.
One historical inaccuracy my friends pointed out to me was that Christianity actually arrived in Northern Europe about 500 years after the events of this story had taken place.

Women are not allowed in the soccer stadium. The girls who try to sneak in are arrested. But the guards and their prisoners are all young, and as it turns out, equally mad about soccer.
While the fans are going wild following the game inside the stadium, the guards report the progress to their prisoners.
The elders who put these rules in place are out of touch, and out of sight.
